HAPPY 2012! It’s now 11 hours into the new year and besides the cheap champagne headache I am experiencing from last night’s festivities, I feel great.  A fresh start to a new year with a new apartment in Bucktown, a great bill of health, and happy friends and family.  I have a few “resolutions” for this year, even though I hate making these (mostly) unrealistic expectations.  It’s good to have goals.  Here they are, for your enjoyment! 1) Blogging.  I’ve been bad and have neglected this.  It’s time to continue to post my G.Y.S.T.S (Get Your Sh*t Together Sundays), funny Chicago stories, and updates.  I missed you, blog world! 2) Dating.  Getting back into the game…..Look out Chicago? 3) Red Wine Tuesdays (and sometimes Wednesdays and Thursdays)… let’s cut this down and replace with something like yoga.  Yes, Jackie? 4) More karaoke.   5) Happiness.  Overall, being happy is the #1 thing.   Happy New Year everyone! xoxo, Jackie

G.Y.S.T.S (Get Your SH*t Together Sunday)- Moving addition Why hello everyone! I’ve been busy busy looking for a new apartment, working my fingers off, and traveling.. Oh yeah and spending endless hours on pinterest.com, that I haven’t had a chance to post a GYSTS blog in quite some time. Today, I’m starting the dreaded moving process and also finding some classic gems along the way which include old cell phones with priceless texts on them like: “meet me at Ian’s pizza. I need me some Mac n cheese pizza STAT” circa December 7th 2007 and “Omg One Tree Hill was CRAZY tonight” circa September 25th 2008. How are you Getting Your Sh*t together today?
