Beauty Products: Recommend by a simple Chicago Girl What’s better on football Sunday than to create a full post on my favorite beauty products?  Yeah, I had the same thought.  Well, GIRL ALERT!  Here is list of just a few of my favorites.  What’s yours? Face: Philosophy “Great Skin Is In” set.  I’ve tried every over the counter facial product known to man and never saw results.  Trying out crazy remedies only a witch doctor can come up with, nothing is as great as this package.  Spending the extra money on this line of products is definitely, by far, the best investment that I have ever made.  After all, your face is the first thing people look at! http://alturl.com/wpaom Lotion: Continuing on the Philosophy train…who doesn’t like to smell like they just walked out of a luxurious bubble bath complete with candles and the sounds of Sade and Kenny G?  Pure Grace http://alturl.com/vki5c And another lotion I love, mainly in the winter when I want to feel like I just stepped off a beach in Maui, is Bath and Body Works Lay it on Thick http://alturl.com/fxc4s Tanning products: I’m Italian.  But I’m not “Jersey Shore” Italian, so after year and years of looking for a product that doesn’t make me look like an oompa loompa, I go for Loreal Sublime or Fake Bake http://alturl.com/9umfy  and if you are in the Chicago area and want a customized spray tan, get yourself an appointment with Jen at Golden Girls Chicago.  She’s the best! http://alturl.com/6qcvy  Play is safe when tanning, kiddies.  You don’t want to look like a leather handbag when you are 35. Shampoo: (“It goes on first and cleans the hair…) Billy Madison is right.  so is Bumble and Bumble.  Even though my colorist told me this is too harsh for my hair, it’s still my all time favorite.  Bumble and Bumble “Seaweed” http://alturl.com/n3yb9 Conditioner:(“I make the hair silky and smooth..” Same product. It will get you smelling like a mermaid fresh from the beach, in no time.  Wait.  Is that a good thing? Hair Volumeizer: Shu Uemura: Ample Angora light foam: http://alturl.com/4b49k  No idea how to pronounce this.  No idea where I came in contact with this.  The only thing I know is that my hair looks damn sexy with this.
